After School Program

PSD’s After-School Programs engage students productively in their communities. PSD has developed a Skills-Building model that provides students with a set of community based skills by which they feel responsible and develop initiatives that help them in addressing community issues.
Students are provided with intensive trainings in life skills, ICT, critical thinking and community engagement. As a result, students are prepared to actively participate in their communities and link their activities and engagement to their classroom activities. Students will think critically and play a crucial role to solve community-based challenges.
Positive youth development strategies, recreation and prevention activities are at the core of this model. Such activities may involve the performing arts, music, physical recreation, promotion of health/nutrition, career awareness, engaging in community service and other youth development programs based on the students needs and interest.
